Visiting a patient at one of our hospitals
Support from family and friends can positively influence the healing process. Visitors are welcome in accordance with the patient's wishes. Please respect the comfort, and care of all patients at all times.
A visitor should not enter the hospital is they are feeling unwell. Illness can spread and be dangerous for patients in the hospital. We kindly ask that they visit at another time.
AMGH Visiting Hours
Monday to Friday: 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Third floor visiting hours 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)
Weekends and holidays: 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Visiting a patient on the third floor 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)
SHH Visiting Hours
Preferred visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., however, we suggest checking with the nurses station regarding visitor restrictions.
Visitor Restrictions
During your visit, patients and visitors should wash their hands regularly using soap and water. If your hands are not visibly soiled, use the sanitizer at the entrance to each room.
Check with the nurse before bringing food/drinks into the hospital.
